The Path from Account to Connection

VPN Setup Guide

Complete the setup in order: create an account, choose a plan, get your subscription, import it into a client and verify the connection. Handle only the task at hand at each step; see the full guide for protocol details and route types.

Account Setup

Create an Account and Open the User Panel

Open the account creation page through the “Start Free” link on this page. GFVPN keeps registration simple: set a username and password without entering an email address. Use the username to sign in to the user panel and the password to protect the account. Before submitting, check for extra spaces. Once the page confirms that the account is ready, it will usually take you straight to the user panel; if you return to the login page, sign in with the username and password you just created.

After opening the panel, confirm that you can see entries such as Overview, Plans and Clients. The goal here is not to adjust routes or clients, but to make sure the account is accessible. Store the username and password in a trusted password manager, since orders, subscriptions, client downloads and support tickets are all handled through the same user panel.

If the account has no selected plan yet, the subscription area in Overview may not show available routes. This is normal. Do not search other websites for supposedly public subscriptions or import third-party configurations as GFVPN account content. Go directly to the Plans page and choose an option based on your actual usage.

Usage-Based Choice

Choose a Plan Based on Your Usage

In the Plans section of the user panel, first choose between a monthly subscription and a data package. Monthly options are ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Data resets monthly on the activation date, making these plans suitable for steady usage with a fixed monthly allowance. If you upgrade partway through a cycle, the price difference is prorated by the remaining days, so you can adjust usage from the panel without creating another account.

Data packages include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. They remain available until used and never expire. They suit irregular usage or anyone who prefers data to be deducted as needed. Do not simply choose the largest allowance: consider whether you mainly browse occasionally, work online daily or stream regularly, then choose a package that covers your near-term usage. For a structured comparison of monthly plans and data packages, read the billing models section of the full guide.

After choosing an option, open the order confirmation page and check the plan name, data allowance and amount. Then pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay or USDT. After payment, return to the user panel and do not close an order page that is still processing. Continue to retrieve your subscription once the panel shows that the plan is active. GFVPN offers a 30-day hassle-free refund; see the Help Center for billing and refund categories, including applicable procedures and order status.

Configuration Delivery

Get Your Subscription from Account Overview

Once the plan is active, open Account Overview in the user panel. Find the subscription details and use the copy option to retrieve the subscription for the current account. The subscription lets the client read available routes and related configuration. It is linked to your account status, so get it from the panel rather than using an unfamiliar address from search results, chat logs or another source.

You do not need to open the copied content in a browser address bar or alter any characters. Keep it intact and paste it into the client’s subscription import field. The address below only illustrates a common format; it is explicitly fictional and cannot be used to connect:

https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN

If you plan to import the subscription on another device, use a trusted end-to-end transfer method where possible and delete temporary records afterward. Do not publish the subscription on a public page or give it to someone you do not know for configuration. If the subscription area is missing from the panel, return to the order page and confirm that the plan is active. If the order is normal but the subscription is still unavailable, submit a ticket from the user panel instead of repeatedly creating new orders.

GFVPN supports simultaneous use on unlimited devices. One account can be configured on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux. Each device needs to import the subscription separately, while the account and plan remain the same. Once the subscription is ready, continue by choosing the client for your system.

Platform Configuration

Import the Subscription into Each Platform’s Client

Get the GFVPN client for your system from the Clients section of the user panel. The site’s marketing pages do not provide static installers or public subscription addresses; both the client and subscription are delivered through the user panel. After installation, open the client, find Subscription Management, Add Subscription or Import from URL, paste the complete content copied in the previous step, and give the configuration a recognizable name. Save it, run an update and wait for regional routes to appear.

WIN

Windows

Get the Windows desktop client from the user panel and install it. On first launch, open Subscription or Configuration Management, choose Import from URL, paste the complete subscription into the field and save it. Return to the main screen and run a subscription update, confirm that the route list has loaded, then choose a target region. If the system asks for network access, confirm that the request comes from the newly installed GFVPN client and allow it to create the required network configuration.

MAC

macOS

Get the macOS client from the panel and open Subscription Management after installation to add a URL subscription. Paste the content, save the configuration and manually update the route list. When connecting for the first time, macOS may ask you to approve a network extension or VPN configuration. Complete the authorization in the system dialog, then return to the client; do not import the same subscription again. Once regional routes appear, proceed to connection selection.

AND

Android

Open the Android client download entry through the user panel and install the app. Go to Configuration or Subscription, choose Add Subscription, paste the URL, save it and tap Update. When the system establishes a connection for the first time, it will show a VPN authorization dialog. Confirm it so the client can create a local network channel. If the route list is empty, check that the subscription was saved before updating instead of creating multiple configurations with the same name.

IOS

iOS

Check the user panel for the iOS client and configuration instructions, then install it through the provided entry. In the client, paste the subscription on the Subscription, Configuration or Import from URL screen, save it and update. On the first connection, the system will ask to add a VPN configuration. Approve it, return to the client and choose a route. iOS may use different labels from desktop clients, but the core process remains the same: import the complete subscription, update the routes and choose a target region.

Connection Check

Choose a Route and Confirm the Connection

Once the route list loads, choose a region based on your destination. For services in Japan, start with a Japan route; use the same principle for services in Singapore or the United States. A clear destination makes it easier to narrow the options. If a route name mentions IEPL, relay or direct connection, keep the client’s recommended default for the first setup rather than researching every technical difference.

Select a route and start the connection, then wait for the client status to change from disconnected to connected. Open the website or service you actually need and check that pages load normally, including sign-in, images and basic interactions. A changed client toggle alone is not enough; opening the target service is the key test of whether the route suits the task.

If a route connects but the target service loads poorly, disconnect first and try another route in the same region. Change only one variable at a time; do not reinstall the client, buy another plan and change system network settings together, or it will be difficult to identify the cause. For the differences between IEPL, relay and direct connections, see the route types section of the full guide.

If no route connects successfully, check in order whether the plan is still active, the subscription has been updated, the system has granted VPN configuration permission, and the current network can open ordinary pages. If the issue persists, use the Help Center’s connection and troubleshooting section and continue based on the symptoms. For account or order issues, submit a ticket from the user panel.

Everyday Use

Updates and Device Management After Setup

After the first connection is verified, everyday use typically means opening the client, choosing a suitable region and starting the connection. When the route list changes, use the client’s update subscription function to sync it; there is no need to delete the existing configuration and import it again. If route names or their order change after an update, follow what the client currently displays. Refreshing the list does not change the account or plan.

To use GFVPN on another device, repeat the sequence “get the client—import the subscription—choose a route—verify the connection.” GFVPN supports unlimited devices, but each device should obtain the compatible client from the user panel and receive the permissions required by its system. Switching devices does not require a new account or another purchase of a plan that is still valid.

Monthly subscription data resets each month on the activation date, while data packages remain available until used and never expire. Check the current plan and subscription status in Account Overview. This tutorial does not cover advanced topics such as split-routing rules, route costs, bandwidth and concurrency considerations, family sharing, or refund and after-sales coverage. Continue with the complete guide to choosing a cross-border network service; for specific issues, start with the Help Center.
